Yesterday WxSolution recorded a total of 0.83 in. of Rain. Today looking at the Summary for yesterday it shows 0.54 in. of precipitation.
After checking the "Edit Hourly Data" and in the Summary for May 15th it is showing the rate not the amount for the day

I just noticed that my monthly and yearly totals are different, and since it's January, they should be the same! In fact, neither one matches an event counter in parallel with the Heathkit 5001 rain gauge input.

If you have two different rain recording devices, there will often be a bit of difference due to many factors. As far as WxSolution's recording not matching that of your station, I'd report that directly to Dan at support@thunderheadtech.com, sure sounds like a bug.

All the different devices run off the same two wire input. One contact closure = .01 inches, and the event counter is paralleled with the Heathkit input and gets the same contact closure. WX Solution is running on the PC connected to the Heathkit. All should be the same, but now my event counter is about .2 higher than WX Solution. For all of last year it was .1 higher.
By the way, monthly and yearly are now equal in WX Solution since the last bug fix and restart.
