This section will be for questions or information on the CWOP program. If you haven't seen it, take a look at the Weather Station Siting, Performance, and Data Quality Guide produced by CWOP (your Admin was a technical editor for this manual), which, while still in draft form, is a great guide for properly positioning your weather instruments. You can download this PDF document at mywebpages.comcast.net/dshelms/CWOP_Guide.pdf.

I have a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station and am willing to place it for the sites, as it is not via MacAPRS OS 9.2.2. I now have a Mac Pro OS 10.4.8. I think I will be able to get the new Davis "WeatherLink" software to communicate with the MacPro via the KeySpan 4 port serial interface. MacAPRS does not work on OS 10.4.8 as the Sproul brothers do not have their software to see the ports yet. I also see the the link here in Charleston area for APRS link is not up, so the WX data is not being sent now through the APRS Mac 9. My goal is to get all my old systems to work on my new Macintosh X, and get the weather data back to www.findu.com/cgi-bin/wxpage.cgi and any other sites that would like to receive my data.
